Pinball Heaven: UK Distributor for Dutch Pinball
Pinball Heaven is delighted to announce it has been appointed UK Distributor for Dutch Pinball.
Dutch Pinball is a pinball developer and manufacturer that was started when Barry Driessen and Koen Heltzel decided to do a re-working of the Bride of Pinbot. In 2013 Dutch Pinball acquired the rights to develop a fully licensed pinball machine based on the movie The Big Lebowski.
Jeffrey “The Dude”
The Big Lebowski is a 1998 crime comedy film written, produced, and directed by Joel and Ethan Coen. It stars Jeff Bridges as Jeffrey “The Dude” Lebowski, a Los Angeles slacker and avid bowler. He is assaulted as a result of mistaken identity, then learns that a millionaire, also named Jeffrey Lebowski was the intended victim. The millionaire Lebowski’s trophy wife is kidnapped, and millionaire Lebowski commissions The Dude to deliver the ransom to secure her release. The plan goes awry when the Dude’s friend, Walter Sobchak schemes to keep the ransom money for the Dude and himself.
The Big Lebowski Pinball Machine
The pinball machine was originally teased at the 2013 Pinball Expo. Flyers were handed out which showed a pinball machine covered in a rug with some props that were hints to ties with The Big Lebowski movie. All the flyer said was “IT’S COMING DUDE!”. When those 69 days were up the countdown changed to a teaser trailer for a pinball machine, now called The Big Lebowski Pinball.
Released in April 2016 to critical acclaim, this critically acclaimed Pinball Machine is still in demand by pinball aficionados, and Pinball Heaven has machines on the way; available to order now, with delivery scheduled for next month.
