The Godfather 50 Years pinball machine released by Jersey Jack

After teasing their latest release last week, Jersey Jack Pinball today officially unveiled their new The Godfather 50th Anniversary game.

In conjunction with Paramount Pictures, Jersey Jack Pinball brings you into the world of The Godfather. Control territories, gain influence, recruit soldiers, and take out your enemies amongst the Five Families. Designed by Eric Meunier, The Godfather 50 Years pinball machine has two variants; the Collector’s Edition which is limited to 1,000 units and the Limited Edition which is limited to a maximum of 5,000 games.

The Godfather 50 Years Pinball Limited Edition

Featuring an interactive shaker motor providing haptic feedback, masses of shot options from the three flippers, plus some unusual new mechanisms and familiar devices used in unusual ways, Jersey Jack’s latest offering is certainly set to capture the imagination. Drawing from assets from all three movies and including two different versions of the main theme: a vocal version sung by Mark Tremonti of Creed and Alter Bridge fame, plus a haunting instrumental version performed by Slash, The Godfather 50 Years Pinball is a truly immersive experience.

The Limited Edition includes black powder-coated armour, an exclusive cabinet and back glass image by Christopher Franchi, coupled with Invisiglass, and individually numbered edition plaques, as well as standard JJP features such as RGB LED hotrails, shaker motor, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, Scorbit integration, player high-score camera built into the backbox and back glass lighting.

The Godfather 50th Anniversary Pinball Featurette

Exclusive access with Game Designer, Eric Meunier, and Lead Programmer, Keith Johnson, as they discuss immersing the player into the world of The Godfather, one of the most iconic and prolific films in cinematic history. They also talk about game features, player objectives, and new technologies.

Limited Edition Game Features

A key objective of the storyline is to take over each of the boroughs of New York, represented by an illuminated map which lights up as you progress, and a laser-cut skyline of New York is featured in front of the back panel.

There are assorted modes and features you can start along your journey, including four multiball modes: 5 Families, Compound, Turf War and Sicily. These are shown with red inserts on a ‘rose’ progress window.
