Pulp Fiction by Chicago Gaming Company is a deliberately retro pinball machine with a single-level playfield, two full-size flippers, no ramps and a layout built around controlled shooting rather than flow. The playfield features three pop bumpers, two spinners in the orbits, a three-bank drop target, four “memory” drop targets, stand-up targets, kick-out saucers and a central gun magnet used to grab and redirect the ball. Display is via alphanumeric LED panels instead of an LCD screen, reinforcing its early-1990s design ethos. Audio includes over 250 original voice clips from 19 characters and licensed music from the film soundtrack, while physical toys include sculpted Vincent and Jules figures, illuminated briefcase and gold watch.
