Originally launched in 1998, Cactus Canyon was Bally’s final traditional pinball machine. Production was cut short, and the game shipped with incomplete code. With the Lyman Sheats Upgrades, Chicago Gaming has fulfilled the original designers’ vision, offering pinball fans a richer, more complete experience.

Cactus Canyon – Lyman Sheats Complete Upgrade Kit

This upgrade kit completes Lyman Sheats’s vision for Cactus Canyon. It introduces 10 new game play modes; 2 enhanced modes; new animations, sound, and music; and a saloon mech with a bash door and spinner. This kit is compatible with any CGC model of Cactus Canyon – SE, SE+, or LE. Expected shipping date: July 2025.

Key additions include:

• Skill Shot / Hurry Up Mode: A new Super Skill Shot linked to the Runaway Stage Coach.
• Bella Bart Battle: A new villain, Bella Bart, joins the fight.
• Saloon Fight Mode: Players can now trigger a brawl at Rosie’s Saloon.
• Gunfight Scoring Revamp: New ways to build multipliers and score big.
• Shootout Topper Mode: Interactive video mode with flipper-controlled shootouts.
• High Noon & Showdown Wizard Modes: Expanded boss fights and dramatic finales.

Cactus Canyon Complete SE and SE+

With the upgrade kit now available, Chicago Gaming will also be launching new models of the Cactus Canyon SE and SE Plus Topper that have the Lyman Sheats Complete Upgrade already installed. We expect to receive these units this summer.
