Evil Dead pinball is a wide body pinball machine set in the world of the first two films of the iconic franchise, The Evil Dead, and Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn. The players will be guided along by Ashley Williams, voiced by Bruce Campbell, as they battle the relentless forces of evil. Ash’s now evil girlfriend Linda (voiced by Lara Sluyter) and Professor Knowby (Voiced by Scott Innes) will provide an additional level of Deadite trickery and direction to the game. Evil Dead Pinball is our most ambitious game to date, featuring the highest number of mechs in a Spooky Pinball machine yet.

The game also features original clips, speech, and sfx from both films. Evil Dead Pinball is the 4th game by the designer duo “Spooky Luke” and Corwin “Bug” Emery. Many other Spooky crew members have returned for this release, including Ben Heck on the code, Matt Montgomery providing the score, Back Alley Creations, on the sculpts. This is also the first in a series of many Spooky Pinball games featuring a full art package by Christopher Franchi. It’s time to officially “Join Us” in what we can confidently say is our most beautiful, most loaded, most impressive world under glass yet.

Designed by Gary. J. Tunnicliffe the Evil Dead pinball machine is a collector’s dream, featuring an array of interactive and artistic details. Highlights include a stepper-driven Evil Ash hand, pop-up bash toys of Evil Scotty and Evil Ed, and a rotating Good/Evil Linda head in a vice.

The playfield boasts an RGB-lit Fruit Cellar lower section with a hidden sling flipper, a cabin multi-ball lock with a VUK through-window and motorized swinging porch swing release, as well as a ball entering/releasing lift ramp. Players can enjoy the Double Barrel Boom Stick Multiball dual shooter lane, a cellar door with rising Evil Cheryl bash targets, and a Necronomicon-inspired insanity-inducing captive ball.

Additional features include a 180° ramp feed to a Deadite pop cluster with blood flood standup targets, six inline groovy drop targets, and a hidden orbit magnet leading to a VUK. The machine is adorned with original hand-drawn artwork by Chris Franchi, a full RGB LED action lighting system, and an LCD screen displaying official assets. The design also incorporates vinyl cabin interior graphics, a real direct-printed backglass, and a custom collector’s edition plaque. Enhancing the aesthetics are five custom illusion midnight blue metallic powder-coated habitrails, chainsaw-themed side armour, and integrated RGB speaker lighting with custom powder-coated grills.

Iconic Clips, Speech & Sound Effects

The machine offers premium touches such as officially licensed sculpts by Back Alley Creations, stainless steel ramps, a spinner, theatrical backboard RGB LEDs, and an optional direct print “butter” cabinet. For enhanced gameplay, it includes a traditional physical knocker, shaker kit, EZ slide rail system, and multi-layered RGB integrated topper featuring a motorised RGB-lit raising Cheryl trap door sculpted by a horror special makeup FX artist. Finally, it incorporates iconic clips, speech, and sound effects from The Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn, ensuring an immersive experience for fans.
